Leadership

There are many leadership opportunities at First UMC New Iberia.  Ministry Roundtable in composed of leaders from many of the activity committees that include Children’s Council, Youth Council, Music, United Methodist Men, United Methodist Women, Congregational Care, Worship, Evangelism, Sunday school, Outreach & Missions, and Family Ministries.  A facilitator conducts an hour long meeting once a month where the leaders gather to brainstorm and plan upcoming activities and events.

Other leaders meet regularly during the year comprised of Finance Committee, Administrative Board, Staff Pastor Relations Committee, and Trustees.  These groups keep the budget in check and propose long and short-term goals to enhance the growth of the church financially.

Leadership retreats held at various times through the year enhance the creative growth of many of our church’s programs.
