Sunday School

Every Sunday from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. are Sunday school classes designed to fit all ages. There is also a nursery for infants through two years of age who participate in Sunday school as well. Adult classes include Methodist Men and Women, Fellowship Class, Saints and Sinners, The Outlaws, TNT (Twenty and Thirty Somethings), and The Coffee Club.

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL

J.A.M., our children’s Sunday school program, is for ages 4 through sixth grade. Learn more »

Nursery Care is provided for those ages 0-4.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Youth enjoy fellowship through Bible study, discussion of current events, and peer issues.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

Methodist Men & Women
This class is made up of many of our “cornerston generation” church members, always ready to welcome new faces to the group! Methodist Men & Women study traditional Sunday school material.

Fellowship Class
Boasting many long time First UMC members, this is a fun anc caring group to belong to. The Fellowship Class studies the Cokesbury Adult Bible Series, and classes are led by members who rotate teaching duties.

Pairs & Spares
Made up of couples, singles, and “parts” of couples, this group takes a slightly more contemporary slant, using the Cokesbury Adult Bible Series.

Saints & Sinners
This class provides a uniquie setting with an open-discussion format.

The Outlaws
Another unique class that uses a more contemporary Methodist literature with an open-discussion format.

Coffee Club
This women’s class and prayer opportunity is geared around Christian living, using an open-discussion format.

TnT (Twenty & Thirty Somethings)
Contemporary class using and open-discussion format on current issues and movies in today’s society.
